Great location to enjoy the winter snow, lots of open space. Friendly staff provided good advice for finding transportation. The lodge had delicious breakfast options and provided discounted lift tickets and rentals. The dining area was spacious and meals were satisfying.
Towels were not included in the room rate and the ones provided were old, small and thin. The bathroom was cramped, and the walk to the slopes was further than expected. It would have been better to have the road leading up to the main road cleaned for easier access.

This hotel in the Madarao area is a hidden gem for budget-conscious travelers. The rooms are cozy, with a cute mezzanine level that my kids absolutely loved. The owner, Shimmy, goes above and beyond to make you feel like family, providing delicious dinners and accommodating our ski and snowboard needs. The location right by the slopes and ample land for the kids to play outside in the snow are perfect for a peaceful and scenic getaway.
The bathroom being on the smaller side, but everything else was just right.

Great value for money: This hotel offers a simple yet comfortable lodging option for budget-conscious travelers. Despite not having fancy extras, it provides a quiet and pleasant stay at an affordable price. Convenient location near the slopes: Situated in a peaceful area with beautiful scenic views, this hotel provides easy access to the nearby slopes. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the snow and indulge in winter activities. Friendly and attentive staff: The owner, Shimmy, treats guests like family from day one. He goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even in these challenging times. His accommodating nature and willingness to assist make the experience enjoyable.
Room amenities could be improved: While the hotel offers basic amenities, such as a small fridge and TV, some aspects could be enhanced. The towels provided were old, small, and thin, and the bathrooms are quite tiny.
